Von der Hude, Kerstin

Kerstin von der Hude is a trained pediatric nurse. She is co-founder of the first psychosocial parent counselling service developed in Germany in 1994. As a trained systemic family and couple counsellor, she works at the Perinatal Centre of the Charité – Berlin University Clinic and accompanies families whose children were born prematurely or with complex illnesses. One focus of her work is both the psychosocial perinatal palliative counselling and the grief counselling for families whose children have died at the neonatal intensive care unit. As a trained healthcare ethics consultant she also moderates ethical case consultations.
